  • Designed and implemented Sponsorships in the Arts & Sciences for Youth.

  • Designed and implemented service-learning opportunities for youth and adults. 

  • Developed recruitment and educational program promotions for the world's best girls' leadership organization (K-12). 

  • Served with Belleville Public School Districts #118 and #175 serving hundreds of children in districts that indicate poverty rates for students are 3-4 times greater than the poverty rate for St. Clair County.  

  • Addressed achievement gap in elementary education working with community partners and students.

  • Studied Elementary Education while earning my Associate's Degree.

  • Studied Education Theory while earning my Master's Degree; including that of Paulo Friere. who believed people aren't vessels to fill up with our knowledge. They are already full of ideas and promise. It is our job as educators to bring out the best in each of them.
